Windows Phone accounts for 15% of the smartphone market New Zealand in July
We
are sure that many of you are wondering how can Windows Phone platform
to achieve some successes in the future after Microsoft 's acquisition
of the mobile sector in the Nokia Corporation. After
all, Microsoft has become now controls Windows Phones iPhone market ,
and we expect to be able to direct this to the destination platform that
will help them grow and compete with other operating systems currently
available on the market . But
in the meantime, it seems that Microsoft is doing very well , or at
least better than before , as there are some reports indicate that the
Windows Phone platform from Microsoft managed to acquire more than 15%
of the smartphone market in New Zealand.In
fact, these reports we received from the general manager for Microsoft
in New Zealand, Mr. Paul Muckleston who revealed these figures at the
TechEd 2013. According
to Paul Muckleston the Windows Phone platform was accounted for only 2 %
of the market by the end of June last year , has increased the system
's market share to 4.5% by the end of June. The
market share of Windows Phone system for the quarter ended in June
stood at 8.5 % , this figure has risen to up to 15% in the month of
July.The
credit for this is due to mainly to the Lumia series phones ,
especially phone Lumia 520 available in New Zealand there in black and
red , yellow and white.
